Airstream village underway in downtown Kingman

KINGMAN – The first future dwelling units have begun arriving for the “Tin Can Alley” community of vintage Airstream camper trailers being developed for short term visitor stays along Historic Route 66 in downtown Kingman.

Walk-up coffee and ice cream shops called “Mud” and “Scoops” are open and operating in the space between Second and Third Sts. Site preparation and staking has occurred before the Airstream units are placed on the property.

Kingman City officials have supported owner Lenore Knudtson’s vision to transform the dilapidated property as an Airbnb tourist attraction in the revitalized downtown district.
