ADOT announces Kingman Interchange Project traffic restrictions for June

KINGMAN — The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for around-the-clock, 24-7 restrictions on southbound US 93 in Kingman through June as work continues on the I-40/US 93 West Kingman Traffic Interchange project.

The following restrictions are scheduled from 9 p.m. on Sundays through 6 a.m. on Fridays:

  • Southbound US 93 will be narrowed to one lane between Coyote Pass and Beale Street from Sunday, June 8, through Friday, June 13;  Sunday, June 15, through Friday, June 20; and Sunday June 22, through Friday, June 27.
  • The speed limit through the work zone will be 45 mph.
  • Drivers should be prepared to slow down and make frequent stops when approaching and driving through the work zone.

The restrictions are needed for crews to safely excavate the roadway to build the future Beale Street off-ramp as work continues on the new system-to-system interchange project. For more information, visit the project webpage.
