Colorado River Basin study projections modified due to heavy snowfall

The Bureau of Reclamation has updated its monthly 24-month study projections, indicating improved hydrological conditions throughout the Colorado River Basin. Through the rain and sunshine, over 540 participants walked for the cause! The 6TH Annual Connie Davis 5k Walk & Roll was held on Saturday, March 2nd at the Pyramid Canyon day use area of North Reach Heritage Trails. Despite the morning being met with a mild downpour, over 540 participants registered to support the cause! Shortly after the walk began, the sun came out from behind the clouds. KMS students compete in All-State Honor Band Festival

Kingman Middle School will send four of its talented musicians to the Arizona Music Educators Association’s All-State Honor Band Festival this weekend. Nearly 300 of Arizona’s highly achieving middle school instrumentalists, grades 6-7-8, will gather at Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona on March 16, 2019 to rehearse and perform grade level concerts in the school’s 1,000-seat auditorium. Performers for the Sixth Grade All-State Band were selected by nomination. Arizona’s seventh and eighth grade musicians auditioned in October 2018 to become part of the prestigious ensembles.
