KINGMAN, Ariz. — The Kingman Police Department, in conjunction with the Western AZ DUI Task Force, will be out providing extra patrol on Friday night, October 30. Before you head out for this Spooktacular Halloween Weekend to celebrate, decide and designate a sober driver to bring you home.
The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety provided the Kingman Police Department with additional grant funding for overtime to have officers assigned for enforcement and detection during times where the likelihood of impaired drivers is increased, usually around holidays and community celebrations.
No Halloween villain is more frightening than a drunk driver. If alcohol is part of your Halloween celebration, plan for a sober ride. Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.

This Saturday, Halloween, the Kingman Police Department will be out in specially decorated police vehicles handing out candy to area Trick or Treater’s.
With all of the foot traffic in neighborhoods on this spooky holiday, Kingman Police Officers are out to deter speeders and protect little ghosts and goblins as they hand out bagged treats. Kingman Police cautions drivers to slow down and pay extra attention for children and families who are out in the neighborhoods.
We like to remind all who enjoy this holiday to dress warmly, have large eye openings in their masks, wear something reflective and be extra careful when entering roadways.
