BULLHEAD CITY — A Bullhead City man admits injuring his girlfriend during a Sept. 26 quarrel at a residence in the 4000 block of Primero Drive. Jeffery Scales, 36, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault during an Oct. 26 hearing in Kingman.

Prosecutor Jake Chavez said Scales threw a glass candle at the victim that struck her in the face. He said the woman required ten stitches to close a laceration to her face, and suffered a black eye along with impaired vision.

Terms of the plea agreement require that Scales be placed on supervised probation during a Nov. 23 sentencing hearing. He could also be ordered to serve 6 months in the Adult Detention Facility.
