Mohave County Recorder reminds voters of general election information

voting voting puzzle

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ. — With the November 3, 2026, General Election approaching, the Mohave County

Recorder’s Office reminds voters to review their voter registration information, sample ballot, identification requirements, and voting options. Voters returning an early ballot should ensure the affidavit envelope is signed.

Early voting began Wednesday, October 7, and continues through Friday, October 30. In-person early voting is available Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All three locations will remain open until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30.

Early Voting Locations

• Bullhead City: Mohave County Library, 1170 Hancock Road

• Lake Havasu City: Mohave County Library, 1770 McCulloch Boulevard N.

• Kingman: Mohave County Library, 3269 N. Burbank Street

Indoor Ballot Drop Box

Voters may return completed early ballots to the indoor ballot drop box at the Mohave County Administration

Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“We encourage voters to return their early ballots promptly to allow time for verification and processing before tabulation by the Elections Department,” said Mohave County Recorder Lydia Henry.

Important Dates

• October 23: Last day to request an early ballot by mail.

• October 30: Last day to vote early in person.

• November 3: General Election Day. Early ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m.

• November 8: Deadline to cure an early ballot signature or provide identification for a conditional provisional.

Optional ID Verification When Returning an Early Ballot

Beginning in 2026, voters returning a completed early ballot at a staffed voting location may choose to present acceptable identification for an ID verification process.

Election officials will compare the name and address on the identification with the voter’s registration record. If the information is verified, the ballot affidavit will be marked “ID verified,” allowing the ballot to proceed without the additional signature verification process.

This process is optional. Voters may continue returning their early ballots through the standard process, including by mail or through an official ballot drop box.

Voters casting a ballot in person must present acceptable identification.

Voters can review their voter registration information, sample ballot, and early ballot status through My.Arizona.Vote. Additional election and voter education information is available through the Mohave County Recorder’s Office, the Mohave County Elections Department, and the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission.
