LAKE HAVASU, Ariz. – A presumed drowning incident at Lake Havasu is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said deputies responded at 4:25 p.m. on Oct. 3 to a report of an unresponsive subject in the water in an area south of Three Dunes.
“Initial reports indicated a male subject had entered the water and became unconscious at the surface and was brought to shore where CPR was conducted,” Mortensen said. She said deputies loaded the man onto a patrol boat and continued life saving measures as he was transported to the Cattail Cove launch ramp, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim is identified as Mark Keyes, 51, Flagstaff.
