KINGMAN, Ariz. – A Kingman man charged with sex offenses involving minors has entered a mandatory prison plea agreement. 27-year-old Dakota Demay admits having sexual intercourse with a girl he knew was 14 years old.
Demay pleaded guilty on Sept. 2 to one charge reduced to attempted sexual conduct with a minor for having sex with the girl at an East Andy Devine apartment complex in May of 2026. He is also convicted of three attempted sexual exploitation of a minor charges for possessing child pornography content in his cell phone.
Terms of the deal require Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle to impose a 5- to 15-year prison term at an Oct. 2 sentencing hearing. Demay will also serve lifetime probation upon his release from prison.
