Mohave County students honored across country

MOHAVE COUNTY — Several students from Mohave County were honored this spring at various colleges across the country. These include students from Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, and Colorado City.

Burns of Bullhead City graduates from Graceland University

Graceland University has announced the Spring 2026 graduation list. Graduates from around the country and the world have been recognized for earning undergraduate and graduate degrees from Graceland University between December 2025 through April 2026. Jennifer Burns of Bullhead City, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Jackson of Bullhead City named to Pacific University Dean’s List

Rhyah Jackson of Bullhead City has been named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. The Dean’s List recognizes undergraduate students in Pacific’s College of Undergraduate Studies who earn a grade-point average of at least 3.70 and complete 12 or more graded hours.

Various Lake Havasu City students named University of Maryland Dean’s List

More than 20,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2026 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Students named to the Dean’s List are: Chace Holck, Kaylea Hoover, and Garret Hunter, all of Lake Havasu City.

Michaelson named to University of Alabama Deans List

Rochelle Michaelson was named to the University of Alabama Deans List for Spring Semester 2026.

A total of 14,306 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2026 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

Utah Tech students earn President’s, Dean’s List honors

Students at Utah Tech University demonstrated remarkable academic expertise in the spring 2026 semester, with 869 students earning President’s List honors. To qualify, students had to attain a semester GPA of 3.9 or higher and complete at least 15 credits

“I offer my sincere congratulations to all the students who have earned a place on the President’s List,” Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Chris Guymon said. “It is deeply rewarding to see our students making the most of their opportunities and achieving such meaningful academic success.”

The following local students were honored for earning a spot on the President’s List:

Allison Dockstader of Colorado City, Olivia Register of Kingman, Paige Barlow of Colorado City, Zedakye White of Colorado City.

A total of 904 students being included on the Dean’s List. To qualify, students had to achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 to 3.89 as well as complete at least 15 credits.

The following local students were included on the Dean’s List:

Aidan Kunert of Kingman, Donovan Peterson of Beaver Dam, Jackson Cronk of Kingman, Kamdynn Cobanovich of Kingman, Luke Sisson of Beaver Dam, Rulon Richter of Colorado City.
