MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College will recognize the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its 55th annual commencement ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Anderson Fieldhouse, 3663 Bullhead Parkway.
The ceremony will honor students who have completed certificates and degrees across a wide range of academic and career programs.
This year’s graduating class includes 854 students. The college will confer 492 associate degrees and 581 certificates, for a total of 1,073 degrees and certificates, marking an important milestone for students and families throughout Mohave County and beyond.
Among the graduates are 97 Early College students who completed college-level coursework through dual or concurrent enrollment. Those students are earning a total of 148 associate degrees or certificates before receiving their high school diplomas.
The ceremony will feature remarks from Mohave College leadership, the presentation of graduates and a student speaker who represents the determination and perseverance of the graduating class.
Kelsey Curry, an early childhood education program graduate, will serve as the student speaker. Curry is a mother and first-generation college student, meaning she is the first in her family to attend a college or university. Her journey and message will reflect the spirit of perseverance that defines the graduating class.
Mohave College also will recognize the Kathy Hodel Most Outstanding Student Award recipient during the ceremony. The recipient will receive a $10,000 cash prize. The award honors a graduating student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership and service.
Family members, friends and community supporters are invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate the graduates’ accomplishments.
