Milling and paving operations underway to improve Acoma Boulevard

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City continues moving forward with essential infrastructure improvements along Acoma Boulevard, between SR 95 South at Fremont Drive and McCulloch Boulevard. This work supports ongoing roadway upgrades and paving operations, while maintaining two lanes of traffic at all times. Temporary lane shifts are in place to ensure the safety of both workers and the traveling public.

Milling and paving operations are scheduled to begin Monday, May 4, and continue through June 30. Once this segment is complete, the contractor continues work from McCulloch Boulevard to SR 95 North at Lake Havasu Avenue. The project also includes adjustments to underground utilities.

This is a rolling operation, and motorists may experience periodic delays. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow all posted traffic control signs throughout the construction period.

Lake Havasu City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements enhance roadway safety and strengthen the City’s infrastructure.
