Valley View Medical Center receives 2025 AzHHA Quality Awards

FORT MOHAVE – Valley View Medical Center has announced that it has been recognized as a 2025 AzHHA Quality Award winner in two categories.

The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) announced the winners of its Third Annual Quality Awards at the 2025 Quality Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. These awards were created to recognize Arizona’s leaders who are committed to advancing healthcare through exceptional quality performance, community engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.

“Receiving these awards from AzHHA strengthens the pride that I have for VVMC and, more importantly, for our dedicated staff of physicians, nurses, other caregivers, and our support team,” said Blake Hubbard, CEO of Valley View Medical Center. “The work they do together each and every day in the service of our community is inspiring and nothing short of amazing. We are honored to be an AzHHA member and to be recognized by them for the great care our team delivers to those we are privileged to serve.”

For the Third Annual AzHHA Quality Awards, awards were given in two categories: Outstanding Patient/Community Impact and Clinical Excellence. Within each category, there were five classifications based on hospital size. Valley View Medical Center received both the Outstanding Patient/Community Impact Award and the Clinical Excellence Award in the 26-100 beds classification.

The Outstanding Patient/Community Impact Award recognizes outcomes that directly affect patients, including reducing hospital-acquired infection rates and improving patient safety and quality.

The Clinical Excellence Award celebrates healthcare facilities and teams that have achieved outstanding results in clinical workflows, workforce, and process improvement. This recognition highlights initiatives that positively influence care delivery, staff engagement, and clinical relationships.

“The quality of submissions and winners reflect the tremendous work that is happening in our communities across the state,” said Ann-Marie Alameddin, president and CEO of AzHHA. “Congratulations to our award winners who are working every day to pursue excellence in quality and patient safety.”
