City of Kingman to host Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Update Workshop

City council

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman Development Services Department is inviting residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to take part in an important discussion about the City’s future. A public workshop on the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance updates will take place Tuesday, September 23, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 310 N. 4th Street in Kingman.

This workshop gives the community a chance to learn about proposed updates to the zoning and subdivision code, ask questions, and provide feedback before the new code is adopted. City staff encourage participation from everyone who wants to help shape the direction of Kingman’s growth and development.

“These updates are designed to ensure Kingman continues to grow in a way that reflects our community’s vision,” said Development Services Director, Jason Moquin. “We encourage everyone to participate, ask questions, and share feedback so that we can make sure these changes serve the needs of our residents today and in the future.”

Any comments received during the workshop will be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission and subsequently the City Council.  Residents are encouraged to attend the Planning & Zoning Commission update on Wednesday, September 24, at 5:00 p.m. and the City Council Special Meeting on Thursday, September 25, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
