Lake Havasu City Offers Free Non-Potable Water for Construction and Dust Mitigation

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City is helping local construction companies save on project costs by offering free non-potable water from its wastewater treatment plants.

Currently, water drawn from City hydrants costs $2.81 per 100 cubic feet, plus a deposit fee. By comparison, companies can now access non-potable water at no charge through the City’s wastewater facilities. The Island Treatment Plant is open 24 hours a day, while the North Regional and Mulberry Treatment Plants are available Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

To schedule a pickup, companies may contact the City’s Wastewater Division at 928-855-3999. Staff will provide guidance on the process to ensure smooth access to this cost-saving resource.
