Fort Mohave man arrested for credit card fraud

KINGMAN — A report of fraudulent use of a credit card prompted the July 31 arrest of a Fort Mohave man in Kingman. Deputy Kingman police chief Joel Freed said officers responding to a motel in the 1100 block of Sunrise Avenue made contact with Justin Katoa, 33.

“Investigation revealed that he had used the stolen credit card at various hotels in the tri-state area,” Freed said. “Katoa was also found to have dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia on his person.”

Freed said that the Fort Mohave man possessed several pieces of mail not belonging to him. He was arrested for fraud and drug related charges.
