Argument over trading cards leads to stabbing in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU — Lake Havasu City police report one man stabbed another when an argument over trading cards escalated. Officers responded to the 800 block of Chalon Drive at 11:37 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30.

“They located a male victim suffering from multiple, significant stab wounds,” sergeant Kyle Ridgway said. The victim was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center for treatment of what were described to be serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

Investigation identified the suspect who fled the scene as Jason Jumper, 46. Jumper was taken into custody when he exited a home in the 800 block of Lakeland Drive. Jumper was transported to Kingman and booked into the Adult Detention Facility for attempted murder and other charges.
