Kingman to host public workshop on temporary signage regulations

City council

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman invites residents, business owners, and sign contractors to attend a public workshop focused on Temporary Signage Regulations. The workshop will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at Kingman City Hall, 310 N. 4th Street.

This workshop is designed to provide clear information on current regulations for temporary signs, including event signage, real estate signs, political signs, and business advertising. In addition to reviewing existing rules, the City is also seeking the public’s input on the temporary signage code.

“We want this to be an open and informative conversation,” said Jason Moquin, Development Services Director. “This is a great opportunity for anyone using temporary signage to gain clarity, ask questions, and provide feedback.”

City staff will be available to present information, answer questions, and listen to input from the community. The goal is to ensure that signage regulations are effective, fair, and supportive of both community aesthetics and communication needs.

For more information about the workshop or temporary signage regulations, please contact the City of Kingman Planning and Zoning Division at (928) 753-8130.
