Hasler charged with child pornography

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man was arrested last month following investigation involving his downloading of child pornography. Police reports indicate that an electronic service provider detected and reported illegal activity to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and that investigation led to discovery of his cell phone information and identification of Brian Hasler, 57, as a suspect.

The police reports indicated that 23 video files downloaded between Feb. and April, 2023, were flagged for review. They describe in detail various forms of illegal sexual activity involving mostly underage females and two underage boys in one instance.

Some of the narratives involved youthful exhibition while others revealed minors engaging in sex with one another and/or adult males and a female in one video.

The reports indicate that Hasler made a number of admissions when interviewed last month, including that he used his VISA card to pay for access to one of the two websites that he used. Hasler was arrested on Nov. 10 for ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
