KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center’s (KRMC) Kids Day took place this weekend in a fun-filled community get-together, promoting health in our newest generations for over 40 years.
Saturday, June 15, more than 40 vendors brought the Kingman community together at the annual KRMC Kids Day, encouraging kids around Mohave County to make good health choices in a fun and inviting environment.

KRMC has been facilitating this non-profit event for at least 40 years and is expected to be brought back every summer. According to KRMC Digital Marketing Manager, Christopher Bennett, more than 800 people attended this summer event annually, making this a true Kingman tradition.

Several different branches of KRMC joined this lively event; medical flight crews from Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Guardian Air Transport and the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Air Rescue land their helicopters in the parking lot of the medical center and show the children what goes on behind the scenes. Kids were given the choice to plant seeds; mini-games and free gifts were also available.
Local agencies such as the Kingman Mohave Lions Club, Cub Scouts, and The Kingman Robotics Team 60 attended the occasion. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Department was present at the event as well.
This event also promotes free physicals given by The KRMC Residency Clinic. During the event, free screenings were available.

“Thank you to all of the kids that came out. Thank you to all of the vendors that help promote health in the community”, said Bennett.
