Crash causes second crash

BULLHEAD CITY – Wednesday afternoon, May 15, there was a non-injury accident at the intersection of Ramar and Palma Rds., in Bullhead City. Bullhead City police and fire departmets were on scene in minutes to attend to the drivers and passengers none of whom sustained injuries that required hospitalization. After the initial accident at the intersection, a second accident occurred when drivers observing the first accident managed to cause a second, just as occurred the day before at Marina and Hwy 95.

Bullhead City Police wish to communicate to all drivers that when approaching an accident, it is imperative to pay close attention to traffic flow which is often re-routed around the scene and can cause secondary incidents based on drivers wanting to observe the accident and photograph it using cell phones rather than being fully aware of the traffic flow around them.
