Missing person found deceased

BULLHEAD CITY – Positive identification by the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office of a body discovered in Bullhead City figures prominently in a missing person case. Bullhead City police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Craig Mitchell was reported missing April 19, four days after a concerned friend reported he had not returned after running out of gas and attempting to walk to Adobe Rd. to secure fuel.

A search failed to locate Mitchell, 63, Bullhead City, but his body was found along a wash within the original search area on Monday May 6.

Fromelt said positive identification was achieved Wednesday, May 15, though cause of death was still pending with the coroner. Foul play, however, is not expected she said.
