LAKE HAVASU CITY – Rodeo participants saddled up over the weekend at the Lake Havasu Stampede Rodeo. Havasu Rodeo is the host of many events for cowboys, cowgirls, and cow families of Havasu.

Their Delbert Days Rodeo is an annual favorite and the Lake Havasu Stampede Rodeo is no exception. Dedicated riders gathered for the three-day event all to show what they’re made of starting on Friday, March 15 through Sunday, March 17 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Sara Park Rodeo Grounds.

This was a family fun filled weekend that included seven challenges performed by top riders of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. The community was in for a treat with views of barrel races, bareback riding, team roping, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing and tie down roping.

Mutton busting registrations were a quick sellout and the rodeo provided free parking along with food and beverage purchases available by vendors.

The Lake Havasu Stampede enjoys bringing these events so that the  community can witness a full rodeo in their own town.
