BULLHEAD CITY – No one was injured in a Sunday fire that destroyed a commercial building in Bullhead City. Firefighters responded at 12:40 p.m. to what was initially reported as a brush fire on Outpost Dr.

Arriving personnel encountered a working commercial fire with heavy, black smoke emanating from the Daniells Septic structure.

“The fire quickly spread through the building,” a news release said. “Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the main structure with assistance from the Mohave Valley Fire Department, For Mojave Mesa Fire Department and the BCFD CERT team.”

Mohave Electric Cooperative and Southwest Gas technicians responded to secure utilities at the fire scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation and a roof collapse left the building unsalvageable.
