Rotary hosts local history buff

Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s May 17 meeting was Jim Hinckley (shown with club president Becky Fawson). Hinckley, author of 18 books and hundreds of feature articles for various publications, is a tourism development consultant, CEO of Route 66 Crossroads, committee member of Kingman’s Economic Development Advisory Committee and member of Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership. Hinckley is currently teaching a class at Mohave Community College, The History and Culture of Route 66, with a second class, Route 66 Hospitality and Tourism scheduled for May 29 through June 12.
