KINGMAN – Kingman police report the arrest of a local teenager who allegedly fled the scene after causing a traffic accident that injured others. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said officers responded to the incident at about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 in the 3200 block of Airway Ave.
“Officers found that an all-terrain vehicle driven by a 32-year-old female and occupied by an 8-year-old male, a 4-year-old female and a 7-year-old female had been struck by a four-door sedan causing the all-terrain vehicle to roll approximately twice,” Freed said. “The driver and the two female passengers were ejected. The four-door sedan became inoperable and the driver fled on foot.”
Freed said license plate information was used to identify, locate and arrest the driver, Vincent Gary Ingassi, 18. Ingrassi reportedly admitted his involvement and he was jailed for leaving the scene of an injury accident and multiple charges of aggravated assault.
Freed said the female driver and two girls were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
