ATM thieves sought

GOLDEN VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in a burglary that occurred in Golden Valley on Thursday, Jan. 21. Deputies responded to the American Legion, 3435 N. Verde Rd., for an active alarm and discovered the doors leading in had been pried open. An ATM machine had been removed from the building. Video surveillance showed two men entering the building at about 3:15 a.m. and heading straight for the ATM,

loading it onto a moving dolly. Both men were wearing beanies, face coverings, gloves, jackets and pants. Deputies noted that one of the suspects appeared much taller than the other, approximately 6’2”-6’5”, while the other suspect appeared to be approximately 5’9”-5’10”. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at 928-753-0753 or call toll free at 1-800-522-4312 and reference DR#21-002625.
