7th Annual Yoga retreat set for this weekend

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Ben Hicks Yoga studio will be offering classes this Thanksgiving weekend with the return of the 7th annual It’s All Good Yoga Festival. It was in 2009, that the owner of the studio earned certifications in the meditation discipline.

After six years of instruction, the former local of Lake Havasu moved back town to open Ben Hicks Yoga. Currently, the company remains to thrive by including additional rewarding classes such as their personal training, massage therapy, and much more.

The day after Thanksgiving, the first class will be in the early evening with a 90-minute practice that will include acoustic guitar music for the festival’s sound practices. This class will be followed by an interactive ceremony.

Saturday, participants of the retreat will take an early morning brisk walk to the edge of Havasu’s island and take in a scenic sunrise. Afterwards, there will be a Strength and Healing Through Movement Class intended for bodybuilding.

There will also be a Thai massage offered for couples who wish to stretch in betweens lessons. The yearly event will be providing lunch giving for attendees as well, giving them a chance to socialize and regroup. More healing instruction classes will follow afterwards for the mind, body, and soul like their internal strength course, restorative yoga, and vibrational sounds from crystal bowls.

The 7th Annual It’s All Good Yoga Festival will be taking place on Friday, November 29 at the Nautical Convention Center. A complete schedule of the two-day free event can be viewed by visiting  Lakehavasuyogafestival. Hicks offers this retreat each year, as a way to show his gratitude for the ongoing support the community and students have extended to him over the years, and this is the perfect week to give thanks to others.
