51 Mohave College Bullhead campus students inducted to honor society

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society-Alpha Chi Psi chapter on the Bullhead City Campus hosted its induction ceremony April 16 to recognize its new members for outstanding academic achievement and commitment to scholarly excellence. 

Fifty-one new members were inducted: Leah Allen, Mya Badillo, Taylor De Lange Beadle, Elizabeth Benson, Lorraine Butler, Lily Buxton, Sidnee Campbell, Christina Carrera, Bryan Davis, Alena Delgado, Julian Doyle, Ashlynne Ferguson, Noalle Figueroa-Tamayo, Bree Foster, Atticus Fuhrman, Nikole Giffin, Louie Gonzalez, Ethan Harris, Aubrey Hays, Khoa Henderson, Harold Henson, Jaspien Jackson, Colbi James, Eric Jarvis, Kristen Jeffers, Shyanne Kozlowski, Mark Krechter, Jatreyllis McCloud, John McDaniel, Hannella McKay, Kristie McNiel, Emma Mendoza, Sorada Miner, Estivali Moreno, Madilynn Nelson, Caleb Nez, Michael Noel, Sarah Osborn, Kolton Pennington, Erwin Prieto, Kari Reynertson, Marysa Rosta, Adrian Roth, Ana Sandoval Gutierrez, Mickayla Sandoval, Tiffany Sauer, Jessica Sercu, Thomas Sipan, James Sixbery, Angela Sorensen, Devon Sporcich, Shawntel Tsilitskaya, Xochitl Valenzuela, Kiara Vance, Dominic Vaughan, Trinity Villegas, Hannah Walker, Nathan Way-Holmes, Jazmine Weaver, Allison Wheatcroft, Parker Whelan, Holly Winters and Gessel Zamudio.

Mohave College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society-Alpha Chi Psi chapter on the Bullhead City Campus inducted 51 new members.

Students are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) if they have achieved a cumulative 3.5 GPA and earned 12 credit hours or if they are in a certificate program and have earned 6 credit hours. Inducted students have demonstrated exemplary academic performance and are leading as examples to future members.

The chapter also honored the following graduating PTK members for their dedication and service: Shelby Andersen-Mosher, Mya Badillo, Monica Elizabeth Rodriguez Castillo, Noalle Figueroa-Tamayo, Aubrey Hays, Jaspien Jackson, Eric Jarvis, Gennifer Pagente, Erwin Prieto, Tiffany Sauer, Cheyenne Singleton, Trystanne Stephens, Jazmine Weaver and Holly Winters.

The chapter is led by President Shelby Andersen-Mosher and Vice President Gennifer Pagente, with newly installed officers including VP of Fellowship Maranda Wilson, VP of Scholarship Sarah Osborn, Public Relations Officer Thomas Sipan, and Recording Officer Taylor Beadle. Faculty advisors Alana Johnson and Eric Osborn provide guidance and support to the chapter.

Mohave College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society-Alpha Chi Psi chapter on the Bullhead City Campus honored graduating members.

“Congratulations to our new members for this new chapter in their path through college, they’re joining an amazing community,” said Dr. Osborn, club advisor. “Our graduating students have accomplished so much and demonstrated what hard work looks like.”

Mohave College President Dr. Tim Culver encouraged new members to remember their families and others that supported them throughout their academic journey.

Phi Theta Kappa’s mission is to recognize and encourage scholarships among two-year college students by providing an opportunity for leadership, service and development.
