LAKE HAVASU CITY – Off road motocross racing returned over the weekend at WORCS off road racing motorcycle event. This was a three-day event held Friday through Sunday, March 15 through 17, at Island Race Track.
Established in 2001, WORCS has invited amateur and professional riders to experience the most current series in off-road racing. Within three years, the company made a name for themselves as the largest off-road motorcycle series in the U.S.
The WORCS way is to dive into race courses that challenge the abilities of riders in wide open deserts. The outdoor style motocross tracks are included for each racing location. Their race courses have locations in California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and plenty more.
The action never stopped as weekend racers competed for the points chase for class championships. Spectators witnessed greatness in action on foot or by camping out near the racetrack. Racing days included youths and adults having a blast on just two wheels. First time racers wanting to learn more about how to participate can do so by visiting worcsracing.com.
Third place winner went to Dare Demartile, second place winner was Cole Martinez, and the number one spot went to racer Justin Hoeft. WORCS continues to carry out their goal to bring high quality family fun races to various communities.
