BULLHEAD CITY – A local woman reportedly committed suicide in a Bullhead City holding cell late Sunday afternoon. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said 34-year-old Amber Dawne Fagundes was unresponsive when she was discovered with an undisclosed item wrapped around her neck at 4:20 p.m.
Fagundes was being detained on disorderly conduct, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia charges. Lake Havasu City police are conducting an independent investigation of her death.
