Wings & Wildlife Expose held

LVMPD Metro Squad was on hand along with dozens of guests and volunteers Saturday at the  Wings and Wildlife Expose hosted at Pyramid Canyon Park in Laughlin. The event showcased local wildlife found in Southern Nevada as well as rocks, flora and fauna from the region. 
The event was hosted by Clark County Parks and Recreation, Nevada Department of Wildlife and Commissioner Michael Naft as well as the Laughlin Elks Club who provided food for guests. Kids were treated to kite flying, face painting and educational booths relating to Nevada’s wildlife.

One of the many displays found at last Saturday’s Wings and Wildlife expo at Pyramid Canyon Park in Laughlin put on by Nevada Commissioner MIchael Naft and the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Dozens of kids and volunteers were on hand to celebrate the wide and varied wildlife to be found in Nevada. Food and refreshments were served by the Laughlin Elks Club, and kids were treated to kite flying, face painting and a host of exhibits to learn more about Nevada Wildlife while having a fun Saturday in the sunshine. Photo by Kane Wickham
