LAKE HAVASU CITY – The ladies of Women With Willpower got together for an afternoon filled with country fun and great memories over the weekend. Their Saddle Up Giddy Up event took place on Saturday, July 20 at Flying X Saloon. Women With Willpower is a close-knit nonprofit that supports the financial needs of women. The resourceful group assists women who are facing financial hardships despite ongoing efforts to avoid these challenges. Recipients of their services must live in Lake Havasu for at least ninety days and the nonprofit asks them to “pay it forward” by giving back to the city through charitable work.

The Saddle Up Giddy Up fundraiser was a free event to the public and was filled with poker games, 50/50 drawing, silent auction, cornhole competition, and line dancing. The proceeds of the event went towards the Women With Willpower’s ongoing support towards helping the women of Lake Havasu in need of resources.  Learn more about the amazing impact Women With Willpower has had on the community by visiting https://womenwithwillpower.org.
