EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is in response to Lloyd Dickson’s letter of Oct. 4, “Who Would Consider Voting for Trump”.
Dear Editor,
In America we are supposed to settle our political differences via the ballot box, and not in legal charges, especially those with substantial legal deficiencies.
For Mr. Dickson’s information, the Democrats have disputed each election won by Republicans in my long memory. Today they call such disputes “crimes”.
So, my question for Mr. Dickson is why don’t you spend your time and effort producing letters designed to convince Republicans as to why they should vote for the candidate of your choice? Why vote for Trump? Perhaps because in his four years we had no wars begun anywhere. We did not exit Afghanistan leaving behind not just our allies, but billions of dollars in military equipment for our enemies. Inflation was below 2%, gas and groceries were reasonably priced, our children were taught reading and math instead of being subjected to sexually explicit books in elementary school, our petroleum reserves, which are meant for true emergencies, were not sold to China in order to achieve a political aim of the Democrats, girls were not being forced to change in locker rooms and compete athletically with intact males, and we were not being forced to purchase Green New Deal appliances and cars that do not clean our clothes or our dishes, or let us drive to work or wherever we need to go without needing to find sometimes unfindable charging stations.
Perhaps Mr. Dickson might also look beyond the pro-Biden news outlets to see the plethora of bank records, texts, emails, and under oath testimony of whistle blowers that appear to show more and more evidence that there was corruption in the Biden family. Why would our political adversaries have any reason to send millions of dollars to the Biden family? They sold no real estate, nor any product, so what was the money for?
I feel sad for Mr. Dickson who seems to be so full of hate. I really wish I could read one of his letters that instead of throwing dirt at Republicans, was full of his positive reasons for supporting Democrats.
