Vietnam Veterans Day Program scheduled for Friday

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Mohave County Chapter 975, will be hosting the 2019 Vietnam Veterans Day Program on Friday, March 29from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park, 310 W. Beale St., Kingman.

This event is held in Honor of the Commemoration of the Vietnam War.

The public and all Armed Forces veterans are invited to attend.

The guest speaker will be H. Lee Barnes, a Vietnam veteran and author of 10 books about the war.

Those wishing to remember a friend from the Vietnam Conflict will be provided a brief opportunity to speak to the audience.

Chaplain Paul Pitts will be the host and the Kingman Young Marines will be providing the color guard. The Patriot Guard Riders will be manning the flag line.

Chairs will be available for those in need, however there will not be any beverages or food.
