Two injured in house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Two occupants were injured in a residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City Monday. Lake Havasu firefighters responded at 7:30 a.m. to the incident in the 2000 block of Guest Lane.

“The first arriving fire company reported a large fire from the back side and throughout the inside of the residence,’’ a news release said. “Firefighters had to remain outside the house to fight the fire due to extreme conditions.”

Crews gained control of the blaze in about 30 minutes. The fire victims were transported to the local hospital and no firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
