Two injured in house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A civilian and a firefighter were hurt during a residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Crews responded just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday when occupants evacuated after discovering a fire in the garage of a home in the 4100 block of Bison Boulevard.

“The first arriving fire company reported a working fire in the garage with flames through the roof,” a news release said. “One occupant was treated on-scene and released. One firefighter was injured and transported to the hospital.”

Two pets removed from the home were reunited with the homeowner. Personnel brought the fire under control in 42 minutes and its cause is under investigation.
