MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 1, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of two COVID-19 related deaths and eight positive cases. Both deaths were in previously identified confirmed cases.
The two deaths occurred in the Kingman service area. Both are linked to another case. One is in the 75-85 year range and the other is 86+.
Regarding the 8 cases, 7 are in the Kingman service area and 1 is in the Lake Havasu area. The investigation is pending on the Havasu case. That person is in the 20-44 age range, is recovering and is in isolation at home. Two of the 7 Kingman cases are in the 20-44 age range, are in isolation, recovering at home and neither is linked to another case or travel related.
All 5 of the remaining Kingman area cases are in the 65+ age rang. One is hospitalized and linked to another case and, of the remaining four, all are in isolation and recovering at home with two of them linked to another case and two are not.
There are now 32 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including three deaths, 85 in Kingman, with a total of 10 deaths there and 11 in Bullhead City, including one death. There are a total of — 14 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases – 128.
