LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report seizures and arrests following a two-month investigation of suspected sale of heroin and methamphetamine from a residence in the 3000 block of Erwin Lane. Officers serving a search warrant at that home on August 27 reportedly seized several grams of heroin, a half ounce of meth, multiple narcotic pills and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Detective Chris Angus said proceeds from the sales of illegal drugs and items commonly associated with sales were also confiscated. Jason Drew, 38, and Taylor Merrick, 24, were arrested.
Both were initially charged with possession of heroin for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
