Nearly a pound of methamphetamine was seized in north Kingman Tuesday. The MAGNET narcotics task force says the ordeal began unfolding about 4:00 a.m. in the 2700 block of Northfield Avenue.
MAGNET Sergeant Joel Freed said a deputy was beginning to initiate a routine traffic stop when the suspect vehicle pulled into the driveway of a home on the street. At least two people reportedly fled the rental car.
Freed said about eight ounces of methamphetamine was found on the ground outside the vehicle and about six more ounces of the drug was found inside the car.
Freed said one of the occupants, Kayla White, 23, Kingman, was detained in the yard of the property. He said another suspect who fled on foot and remains outstanding has been identified as Charles Hradisky, 42, Kingman.
A search warrant was subsequently executed within the residence on the property. The homeowner identified as 63-year-old David Burton was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. White was booked into jail for possession of dangerous drugs for sale and other drug related charges.
