KINGMAN – The Kingman Center for the Arts (KCA) art gallery’s third show of the year opens June 25 and runs through August 1.
“Historically, Kingman has always played a role as a vital hub in exploration, travel and commerce, so it seems fitting that our new show is themed ‘Transportation, Roads and Paths,’” says KCA art gallery director John VanVliet. “Kingman will no doubt continue as a travel hub and as we enter the future, will also become a hub for the creative arts.”
The public is invited to the “Meet the Artists” reception on Saturday, June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the ArtHub. Locals can meet the community artists, see the show and enjoy some light refreshments at the reception.
For the first time, the gallery will also feature a gift shop where locally-created fine art and crafts can be purchased.
The new gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at the downtown ArtHub location, 402 E Beale Street.
Once the current art gallery closes on August 1st, the space will be transformed into an art education center that runs August 4 through September 12.
Looks Beutiful. Hope I can go
