MOHAVE VALLEY –  Three adults were killed in a raging residential structure fire in Mohave Valley. Crews responding to the 2100 block of Lone Star Drive at 2:00 a.m. Sunday encountered a home fully engulfed by fire.

Mohave Valley Fire Department Fire Marshal Don Gibson said a male in his 20’s who was badly burned was outside the home when firefighters arrived on scene. He was transported to Valley View Medical Center before he was flown to a trauma center in Las Vegas.

Gibson said a couple in their 50’s was found deceased in a back bedroom of the home that was destroyed by fire. He said a woman in her 20’s who died in the fire was located in what appeared to be the living area of the residence.

The names of the deceased and injured are withheld initially. The cause of the fire that also damaged an adjacent home is under  investigation.
