Temporary road closures required at Smoketree Avenue for water main improvements

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Public Works Department announces two upcoming road closures at Smoketree Avenue are in place to facilitate necessary water infrastructure improvements.

The first closure is scheduled for Smoketree Avenue and Poplar Avenue on Thursday, January 23, starting at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 a.m. the following morning, January 24. Traffic is rerouted along the same detour route via Saguaro Drive, Columbine Drive, and then to Cliffrose Drive.

The second closure takes place at Smoketree Avenue and Ash Avenue on Thursday, January 30, from 6:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 a.m. the following morning, January 31. During this time, traffic is detoured via Saguaro Drive to Columbine Drive and then to Cliffrose Drive.

Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and use the designated detours to minimize travel disruptions. We thank residents and commuters for their patience and understanding as these essential upgrades are carried out to improve the city’s water infrastructure.
