Team 60 thanks community

Dear Editor,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the local business leaders from Kingman True Value, Dreams and Rainbows, Desert de Oro Foods, Home Depot, Lisa McClung Photography, and NLF Tax Solutions for generously providing their time and feedback to meet with the youth members of Kingman FIRST Robotics Competition FRC Team 60.

The goal of FIRST and Kingman Team 60 is to inspire students to explore science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and art through cooperative teamwork. As Team 60 students build robots each season, they develop technical skills, learn from mentors, and improve their ability to collaborate with peers and adults. The business visits with our gracious Kingman local community today provides a valuable real-world experience that will impact their future.

Thank you!

Nina (Team 60 mom) and Team 60 members (SW, MK, JS, MS, RS, AL)
