Fire restrictions updated for Mohave County due to increased wildfire risk
MOHAVE COUNTY — Due to critical fire weather conditions, including high temperatures, low humidity, dry vegetation, and sustained winds, Mohave County has enacted fire restrictions for all four Fire Zones within the unincorporated areas of the county. These restrictions took effect on May 23 and remain in place until such time as the Determination of the fire emergency is rescinded. BLM plans a controlled burn in Hualapai Mountains
KINGMAN – Fire managers from the Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District are planning to conduct prescribed burning in the Hualapai Mountains, 20 to 25 miles southeast of Kingman between mid-March and mid-April 2025, pending appropriate weather and fuel conditions.
