The Dragon Fire at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon has grown to 71,005 acres and is now 9% contained. This is down from 13% contained on Monday.

The Dragon Bravo Fire has decreased to 13% contained—down from 26% contained as reported on Friday. The change is due to detailed mapping of the area, as well as growth of the fire.
MOHAVE COUNTY — Due to critical fire weather conditions, including high temperatures, low humidity, dry vegetation, and sustained winds, Mohave County has enacted fire restrictions for all four Fire Zones within the unincorporated areas of the county. These restrictions took effect on May 23 and remain in place until such time as the Determination of the fire emergency is rescinded. The restrictions prohibit all open fires, campfires, and the use of consumer fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Mohave County, excluding State, Federal, and Tribal Lands, except for July 4, 2025, at elevations below 4,500 feet. KINGMAN – Fire managers from the Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District are planning to conduct prescribed burning in the Hualapai Mountains, 20 to 25 miles southeast of Kingman between mid-March and mid-April 2025, pending appropriate weather and fuel conditions.
