Jack Alexander, owner of Thunder-Rode thanks longtime resident and Kingman supporter Linda Owens and presents her with a Certificate of Appreciation for her continued support for the veterans of Kingman and Mohave County. Owens provides and makes available at no charge, seating for veterans in front of the Thunder-Rode so that veterans and their families can enjoy viewing parades in comfort. She has provided seating for the Andy Devine Days Parade, the Veterans Day Parade and other events held on Beale St. in downtown Kingman. Owens has been providing this service to the community and the honoring veterans for many years.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Arizona’s Veterans Agricultural Education and Apprenticeship Program (VAEAP) is an education program specifically designed for returning veterans and their efforts to rejoin the workforce, and to give veterans a sense of therapy through agriculture and animal care.
