KINGMAN – Feral Cat Warriors wll host a live musical fundraiser, Tiki Island Bash, on Saturday, June 1. The live musical performance will be by international reggae artist Iya Ingi & the Hierarchy Band. The Bash will be held at Beale Celebrations, 201 N. Fourth St. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets include dinner, silent auction, 50/50, raffle prizes, contests. Mohave County Sheriff K-9 Foundation Board Member Ray McCool is all smiles after receiving a $1,000 check from Jessi Brent and Dan Nemphos, owners of the T-Mobile store in Kingman, on Saturday, Dec. 28. Brant and Nemphos, residents of Bullhead City, donated $1,000 to the K-9 Foundation to be used for the purchase of new K-9s, K-9 training schools. Dog perishes in Ramar Road fire

BULLHEAD CITY – One dog remains at large, one was rescued and a third perished in a mobile home fire in the 1300 block of Ramar Rd., on Saturday, Dec. 28. The residents of the home were able to evacuate safety; two women were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, and taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for evaluation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
