Tax reform town hall planned

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County officials continue to measure public support for a proposal to reduce the primary property tax, but collect roughly the same amount of revenue by increasing the sales tax by one quarter cent. Supervisors Jean Bishop and Travis Lingenfelter invite interested citizens to a Wednesday town hall that will provide information and opportunity to pose questions. Adoption of the tax reform package requires unanimous support from the five-member board.
