Bullhead student selected as 2025 MCC commencement speaker
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College announced that Natalie Martinez has been selected as student speaker for the 2025 Commencement ceremony. Martinez is a student on the Bullhead Campus and is working toward earning her associate degree in business administration, and education.
Fire Science program graduates celebrated at ceremony
MOHAVE COUNTY –Mohave Community College (Mohave College beginning August 2025) Fire Science students from the class 25-2 were celebrated for their accomplishments during a ceremony with friends, family and colleagues at the Mohave Valley Fire Department station Friday, March 7.
Lake Havasu early college student to graduate with multiple certificates
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College (Mohave College beginning August 2025) provides students who are still going to high school an opportunity to jumpstart their college journey through the Early College. Kevin Ochoa, Lake Havasu Campus student, took advantage of this program and now has multiple Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) certificates. He’s also currently working on a certificate in Business, all before finishing high school.
Mohave College begins the search for a new college president
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College president Dr. Stacy Klippenstein has resigned. He was recently appointed as the new President of the College of Southern Nevada.
Logo chosen for Mohave College
MOHAVE COUNTY – The community has spoken! By an overwhelming 65 percent to 35 percent, students, community members and College employees selected a new institutional logo to represent Mohave College, as it rebrands from Mohave Community College.
