Praise for the Street of Lights, Mingle Jingle celebrations

Dear Editor, Following what has become a Christmas tree lighting tradition at Locomotive Park, kicked off by Mayor Miles this past Saturday, Dec. 4, Christmas celebrations in downtown Kingman were lit up. The celebrations were followed by a Street of Lights, which replaced the longstanding Parade of Lights that Kingmanites have enjoyed for many years and the 2nd year running of the Mingle Jingle. Our congratulations to Joni Millin and the Kingman Downtown Merchants Association and Matt and Pam Wanner (The Standard Newspaper) for putting on such a wonderful event, which lasted until 9 p.m. and provided several hours for…
