MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Men’s Soccer has recorded its first win of the inaugural season! The Bighorns topped Wyoming’s Gillette College 2-0 in non-conference play on Saturday, Aug. 24.

“It’s been two years dreaming of this moment and we’re finally here,” says Men’s Head Coach Camilo Valencia not only of the inaugural season but of the program’s first win. “I’m just so proud and thankful for everyone’s hard work over the past two years.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Men’s Soccer opened regular-season play on Thursday, Aug. 22, with the inaugural squad falling 3-1 to Wyoming’s Northwest College. Men’s Head Coach Camilo Valencia says the Bighorns performed well in the first official outing of the season, adding that recovery will be the focus leading up to the next matchup.

“It was a proud moment to finally see our team on the field for a season game after a long wait,” Valencia says.
